Harbour View Cottages in Grindavik was a delightful escape where practicality met comfort. Arriving just after midnight, the seamless check-in process led us to our cozy cabin with spectacular sea views-a perfect vantage point to witness the majesty of Iceland's ever-changing landscapes. The cabin was well-equipped, offering everything from a fully stocked kitchen to nice touches like warm bathroom floors-essential after a long day of exploring. Even amidst the volcanic rumblings, we slept soundly, lulled by the sounds of the crashing waves, which added a layer of serenity to our stay. This location is ideally situated near the Blue Lagoon and a variety of outdoor adventures, making it fantastic for both relaxation and exploration. For those traveling with family, the sun terrace and children's playground were nice bonuses that kept the kids entertained while we soaked in the view. I'd definitely return here for another road trip starts or a serene getaway with friends!
